On a brisk December morning, Wednesday 09/12/09, Punjabi Wolves presented the proceeds of their Charity Night 2009 in cheque format to the four chosen charities and also a generous amount was donated to Wolves Community Trust.

The record amount raised was £41,174.80, a truly exceptional achievement considering the current economical climate. The proceeds were divided thus, Promise Dreams received £10,006.80, Compton Hospice received £10,048, Birmingham Children’s Hospital received £10,048, India Housing Project received £10,048 and Wolves Community Trust received £1024. Key members from each of the charities were present to receive their cheques and the occasion was captured by Brit Asia TV, Central News, Chamber TV and Express & Star Newspaper.

Punjabi Wolves would like to take this opportunity to thank all those that made the Charity Night a huge success and all those who attended, especially Jatender Heer, Asian British Music, Bally Sagoo, Malkit Singh, Don Goodman, Andy Thompson, WWFC, Jimmy Clyne Promotions, Jody Craddock, Manchester United FC, Buta & Teg Khalhon, Jenny Wilkes, Satnam Rana, Nigel Rafferty, Fernando Trueba, Creative Framing, Andy Brooks, Kular Video, Pat McFadden, Jinder Catering.

In October 2010 Punjabi Wolves will be flying out to India to implement the India Housing Project, more details will posted as the time nears, but in the meantime if you would like to make a contribution it’s not too late just contact us at info@punjabiwolves.co.uk and we will be happy to assist. All ongoing proceeds will go towards the India Housing Project which involves the complete operations of building solid brick houses for families living in dilapidated accommodation along with providing fresh clean water. Punjabi Wolves will have a ‘hands on’ role in the whole project from buying raw materials to laying the foundations through to the handing over of the properties to the respective families.
