3000 Wolves fans went on the march to Hillsborough to see if Wolves could continue a winning streak.  One change was made to starting 11 with Dave Jones in for the suspended Karl Henry.
Straight from the kick off Wolves put pressure on Sheffield with Dave Edwards crossing for Iwelumo only for the ball to fizz past him.  Dave Jones then whipped in a deadly cross which evaded everyone.  There were some fierce tackles going in from both teams but it was Wolves who went ahead on 4 minutes when Kightly crossed from a throw in for SEB to score at the back post. ( Come on you Wolves).  Sheffield then began to get into the game trying to get past a rock solid Wolves defence.  From a Michael Gray taken corner the ball was headed out and Tudgay sent back into the box to cause confusion amongst the Wolves defence.  We got away with it.  Craddock soon after made an excellent challenge on Leon Clarke from a Graham Taylor style long ball.  This was a game that was beginning to become end to end.  SEB turned his marker, ran to the box and crossed low for Kightly whose shot was saved by Grant.  Kightly and Dave Edwards then combined and crossed for George Friend who missed his shot.  Michael Gray, Leon Clarke and James O'Conner exchanged passes to cross only for Gray to head wide of the post.  Dave Jones powered forward to set up Dave Edwards whose shot went wide of the post.  Sheffield came back and Craddock fouled Tudgay outside the box, and the resultant O'Conner freekick was easily caught by the confident Hennessey.  Johnson then tried his luck having run from his own box past Matt Hill and Foley only to blaze his shot over the bar.  Foley then went up the other end and crossed for SEB whose shot clipped the heals of Hinds causing the ball to clip the top of the Wednesday net.
The second half started like the first - End to End stuff.  Berra was strong with Johnson to move him from his stride for a Wednesday throw in.  Matt Hill then rugby tackled Johnson and was booked for it.  Wednesday continued to press with Tudgay feeding Jeffers whose long range shot missed by a mile.  Michael Gray later beat Foley only for his cross to be cleared by a combination of Craddock and Dave Jones.  Stephen Ward was on for Friend and Andy Keogh for SEB.  A deep cross caused panic amongst Berra and Hill who collided with eachother, only for Johnson to shoot against the side netting.  Wednesday were asking serious questions of the Wolves defence.  Wolves did pick up when a long ball was headed away by the Wednesday keeper Keogh shot but the ball was cleared of the line.  Dave Jones then set up Ward to fire the ball across the box with Iwelumo only inches away.  Wolves then professionally played out time with Keogh keeping the ball in the corner.  Wolves win 0-1.
Overall another professional performance that saw Wolves maintain top spot.  Can they keeping it going next week? Lets hope so fans.
