Hull v Wolves |

This was one of those games that Mick has said in the past, means more than playing against the top premiership teams, " These are the teams we must beat to survive". So oddly his team selection was the the same that was sent out to get us a draw against Liverpool.
The game kicked off tense, with both teams not wanting to lose. Jozy Altidore left Berra for dead and passed to Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, who coolly sent his left footed shot in the net on 11 minutes. On 15 minutes the key stone cops arrived for a laugh. Hunt, the player we are dying to get, could have played a ball going out for a throw, anywhere in the stadium, but he choose to back heal to Zubar. After a short exchange of passes with Foley, Zubar put in an aimless cross that Gardner sliced into his own net. Zubar must have still been laughing 3 minutes later when he tried to leap frog Altidore in the Wolves box to give away a penalty. Hunt coolly scored from the spot to make it 2 - 1. Wolves continued to press and were rewarded an equaliser on 67 minutes when Zubar's cross was not cleared and Jarvis volleyed the ball into net from 10 yards. Wolves could have won in the dying minutes when Mujangi's fierce shot was saved by Myhill.
As always I have some questions for the fans.
Why did Mick field another defensive line up, 1 upfront, 2 defenders in midfield (square pegs in round holes) against a team that we should be looking to beat.
If this a good result then which team will Mick play where he puts on an attacking line up.
Wolves have brought 9 players since going up. So why do we play only 2 or 3 each game. Why buy players who are no better then the championship we already have.
When we came up last time with Hayward the criticism was that enough quality players were not brought. Wolves did not want to break a wage structure. We went down. The team we have now was crying out for 3 quality players, in defence, midfield and a striker. We can't afford to pay them. So what's the difference from the last time, even with a new owner.
Is this a club that will not be brave and positive, just like our team selection's, to stay in the premiership.
On the plus side Hansen thinks we will survive.
